excellent source of vitamin , use at 10% dilution, prolongs shelf life of oils

Eachvegetable oil has an estimated shelf life.  To prolong the shelf life of your massage oilrecipe it is a good practice to add about 1-2% vitamin E oil. It is also agreat idea to mark that date the massage oil recipe was made, just to stay onthe safe side.

Personally,I only use essential oils in for massage oils. There are different grades ofessential oils and you might consider doing a little homework before makingyour choice. Certain artisans and commercial retailers will also use fragrance oils.

Againexperimenting is the way to approaching blending essential oils. Maybe startoff with one of two essential oils then work in another. More is not alwaysbetter and asking the person receiving the massage what their preferences areis important to enhancing the benefits.

I recommend that you use about between 10 to 30 dropsper 100 ml.

The list below of essential oils are usually considered safe for a massage oil recipe.Again, read aboutthe safety of the oils.

Essential oils

  • Lavender
  • Roman chamomile
  • Eucalyptus
  • Tea tree
  • Ylang Ylang
  • Bergamot
  • Geranium
  • Sandalwood
  • Sweet orange

Consider infusing your oils with herbs and spices to get some added benefits.
